There are a lot of vehicles on our streets that are parked on the side of the road, in yards, doubled up in driveways. As the HOA we do not want to change our rules for parking, but safety is a priority so we are turning to all of you to help.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

If you own a vehicle that does not fit into your driveway please adhere to these suggestions. They are not rules, but we would like not to have them become one.

Park with half of your car on the street and in your yard if you can.

Park as close to the grass if you can’t park in your yard.

If there is a driveway directly across from your vehicle, move it further down (don’t block other’s driveways)

If you need additional parking, we can help find you space to park at.

Try not to park across from another vehicle – this lessens the width of the road.

Again, we can’t stress enough that these are not rules, if that needs to change in the future, we will hold a vote from the community to decide how to prevent the parking problems.

There are two reasons we are doing this, one, for the safety of YOUR vehicles, and two, so emergency vehicles can get through should they need to, as well as garbage trucks.

We may not all get along or see things in the same way, but being courteous and respectful goes a long way to building a strong community.
